Know when your bus is late with live transit updates in Google Maps
Starting now, Google Maps for mobile and desktop can tell you when your ride is actually going to arrive with new live transit updates. It is currently offered in Boston, Portland, Ore., San Diego, San Francisco, Madrid and Turin and Google is working to provide live data to more cities.
Authorship markup and web search
Google is now beginning to support authorship markup, a way to connect authors with their content on the web. Google now supports markup that enables websites to publicly link within their site from content to author pages.
WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK WITH BING:
Bing for Mobile Browse Gets More Social
Bing unveiled an update to Bing for Mobile Browse that makes it easier to share on Facebook, access news, see local listings and directions in one view, reference past searches and view trending topics.
